Lockton Re swoops on Axis for cyber broker

Lockton Re has appointed Matthew Silley as a broker in the cyber practice of its specialty division.

Silley was most recently with Axis Capital, where he held the title of cyber portfolio management lead.

Paul Upton, Lockton Re’s head of specialty, said, “Matthew is a great addition to our expanding global presence in the cyber marketplace. He brings an analytical perspective and experience that is key in this growing line of business.”

Silley will work closely with Oliver Brew, who joined Lockton Re late last year, and other cyber experts in North America and Bermuda, to create a seamless global capability.
