MGA Nirvana renews Media, Technology and Cyber binder, adds Scor and Argenta to panel

Managing General Agent (MGA) Nirvana has announced the renewal of its Media/Technology Errors & Omissions and Cyber (MTC) binding authority, effective June 1.

This renewal includes an increased £/$/€10 million Media Liability line and expanded authority in Technology and Cyber lines, now covering the financial software industry.

Nirvana has also added two Lloyd’s syndicates, Scor and Argenta, to its capacity panel, increasing the total to seven. Executive chairman Rob Jones highlighted the continued support from capacity partners and the new relationships, reflecting Nirvana's strong performance and growth plans into 2025.

Nirvana, founded by Rob Jones in 2017 and acquired through a management buyout in 2023, has been expanding its offerings, including the launch of a Warranty and Indemnity (W&I) insurance portfolio and the appointment of Andrea Garcia Beltran as Head of cyber for Europe.

“The renewal is the best possible outcome for the business,” Jones said, emphasizing the strategic growth in Media E&O and micro/SME media accounts, particularly in the entertainment and production sectors. The renewal complements Nirvana's European Cyber binder launch, enhancing distribution and product synergies.
